2008年6月28日开幕的巴黎wwi上面，暴雪公布了旗下经典游戏暗黑破坏神的最新一代：暗黑破坏神3。下面是增加的新职业的介绍以及大量游戏截图和三段官方视频的下载种子。
暗黑3新职业：巫医简介

巫医能够在目标当中施放蝗群法术从而造成伤害。可以召唤也会蝗群法术的魔物以增加本身的伤害。
户外环境相当漂亮，是带点卡通的暴雪风格画面。
同星际争霸2与星际1的关系相似；暗黑3的画面与音乐风格，只瞥一眼的话，太像暗黑2了。
巫医还会群体恐惧之类的能力。
巫医一般使用火焰炸弹法术。还会召唤固定位置的僵尸之墙，但是墙内的僵尸们可是会挥舞手臂攻击附近的敌人的。
